You don’t need to be an expert or do anything extraordinary to help someone with a mental health problem – you can just be a friend. Carry on doing the everyday things like sending them a text, inviting them for a coffee, or getting together to watch the game. There are plenty of small, everyday ways you can support them, and this can have a big impact on how they feel.
